Joseph Cox is a security researcher who is ranked among the best in our western world. He says that intelligence agencies, and especially the FBI are criminally undermining “freedom” as we knew it, by dragging cases through parallel constructions, an obfuscating intent, mens rea by localizing dissent, privacy, equal protections with general warrants,   and skirting chain of evidence requirements:

“In early 2015, the Federal Bureau of Investigation hacked computers in Austria, Denmark, Chile, Colombia, Greece, and likely the United Kingdom and Turkey too. In all, the agency used a Tor Browser exploit to target over 4000 computers spread across the world based on a single, arguably illegal warrant.”
